Acknowledging Urban and Rural Native Communities

We strive to be culturally inclusive
The TA Opioid Hub aims to provide culturally inclusive and tailored resources regarding Opioid Prevention for Indigenous communities, both urban and rural.

Seven Directions recognizes the strengths and unique needs of Indigenous communities on both traditional lands and in urban areas. We acknowledge that the effect of colonialism has often resulted in Indigenous people being displaced or choosing to move to urban areas. Our mission is to support the health and wellbeing of both tribal and urban Indian communities in a way that embodies Indigenous knowledge, practices and approaches to wellness.
