What is Technical Assistance?

Tailored support for your team

Technical Assistance (TA) refers to a wide range of supports that outside professionals can provide to programs. This includes resources and ideas to help programs work through challenges, plan and implement programs, and create new tools for their community.

Technical Assistance projects vary depending on the need of your organization. Some examples include:

  • Supporting event planning for a Tribal Health Department by providing feedback on the agenda and suggestions for community engagement.
  • Creative outreach material design for an overdose program.
  • Finalizing a harm reduction strategic plan or logic model.
  • Virtual and in-person workshop or group facilitation.
